MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 10 years of experience demonstrated in a leading Project Controls role,
• University degree in technical discipline (Mechanical, Mining, hydrometallurgy …),
• Completion of the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is required,
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
• Technical background in industrial construction is a plus,
• Experience in multicultural context,
• Fluent in English, written and spoken,
• Code B driver’s license is required in Namibia (International driving license is required for non-Namibian citizens).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Project Control Lead is responsible for controlling the cost, schedule and risk of the pre-feasibility project, and provide schedule, risk analysis, assumption notes and collect data for CAPEX estimate supporting the technical scenarios developed by the company’s Engineering Teams on the frame of the pre-feasibility study.
• The Project Control Lead works in close collaboration with the Project Direction in order to successfully deliver the project. The main workload (75%) is related to the Project Control development needed to support the technical scenarios.

The above mentioned duties reflect the position’s essential functions but does not contain all of the tasks that will be assigned.

The duration of the assignment will be 04 months (may be extended depending on pre-feasibility study conclusions)
