Job description

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Logistics Pillar of Manica Group Namibia. The Logistics Pillar consists of several companies specializing in Clearing and Forwarding, Warehousing, Stevedoring and Transport.

• Strategic Planning: Developing and executing strategic plans and initiatives aligned with the company's overall objectives.
• Business Development and Customer Relationship Management: Identifying and securing new business as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
• Supply Chain Optimization: Provide leadership in streamline processes and enhance collaboration with suppliers and partners to improve efficiency.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Cost Control: Oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure cost-effective logistics solutions while maintaining service levels.
• Leadership and Team Development: Leads and develops a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s Degree in Business Management or Logistics or Strategic Leadership or other relevant field
• Minimum of 10 years work experience in similar role or relevant field at senior management level
• Proven experience in the listed key performance areas
