Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Creditors Clerk to join our Finance team. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume FMCG environment and must have strong experience in managing complex creditor accounts, reconciliations and payment processes.

Key Performance Areas

• Maintain accurate customer accounts and allocate payments correctly.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Perform debtor reconciliations and prepare age analysis reports.
• Process authorised rebates, credit notes and account adjustments.
• Resolve customer account queries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilise customer portals for account management and related processes, where applicable.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate.
• A qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Finance will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in debtors or accounts receivable.
• Knowledge of debtor reconciliations, credit control and accounting processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including VLOOKUP, and accounting systems.
• Experience using customer portals will be a distinct advantage.
• Strong numerical, communication and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
