Unik Construction Engineering Namibia (Pty) Ltd, registered in 2013, located at 26 Rensburger Street, Lafrenz, Windhoek, specializes in larger scale projects ranging from road and bridge construction, water and sewer services, residential, commercial, industrial buildings and infrastructure development.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documents.
• Monitor project budgets and conduct cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison reports.
• Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts.
• Conduct site measurements and valuations of completed works.
• Assist with contract administration in accordance with FIDIC or other applicable contract forms.
• Monitor variations, claims, and contractual disputes.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams on cost-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, financial, and statutory requirements.
• Provide cost analysis and financial forecasting reports to management.
• Perform monthly measurements for payment.
• Review issued plans and verify their accuracy by calculating levels and quantities for ordering required materials.
• Plan and conduct ground surveys to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the road and/or rail construction industry.
• Familiarity with the construction process and basic knowledge of construction practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to take responsibility and work independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
