Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Creditors Clerk to join our Finance team. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume FMCG environment and must have strong experience in managing complex creditor accounts, reconciliations and payment processes.

Key Performance Areas

• Dispatch goods from the warehouse.
• Ensure stock is stored in the correct locations.
• Allocate the correct stock to the relevant cages.
• Ensure all picking activities are completed and picked goods are dispatched from the warehouse.
• Inform the Dispatch Supervisor of the daily weight of stock picked.
• Conduct daily pallet counts.
• Submit daily reports on stock switches, shortages, and surpluses to the Warehouse Manager.
• Conduct daily hotline spot checks.
• Verify and sign off on discrepancies recorded on picking slips.
• Execute daily pick runs within agreed parameters and timeframes.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager with ad hoc administrative functions as required.
• Assist with stocktaking at CIC.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehousing and logistics.
• Computer literacy with excellent keyboard operating skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English.
• Professional telephone etiquette.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Namibian citizenship (a certified copy of an identity document or passport is required).
• Valid police clearance certificate.
