Introduction:

MultiselectNext has the role for Namibian Nationals who'd like to relocate to the Netherlands: In this role, you will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance of our machinery.

Overview

As a Technical Service Employee, the candidate would work together with a skilled technical team to ensure that the production lines run smoothly, and any technical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. Preventive maintenance plays an important role in this position — the goal is to minimize downtime and keep production running as effectively as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve technical malfunctions on production lines
• Work closely with the Production department to minimize downtime and improve reliability
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs
• Work with PLC and PC-based control systems
• Occasionally be available for work in the evenings or weekends when needed
• Work independently and communicate effectively with colleagues

Candidate profile:

• Several years of technical experience and solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (Minimum of 3 years)
• Completed trade/diploma/degree (for example Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar)
• Experience with PLC systems and machine control systems
• Familiar with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Fluency in Afrikaans
• Flexible and able to work independently
