Role Overview:

Sonop Farming is seeking an Accountant: Debtors to manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and accurate records. This role involves invoicing, payment tracking, credit management, and customer account reconciliation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely payments
• Generate and send invoices, reconcile payments.
• Follow up on overdue accounts, negotiate payment plans
• Maintain customer credit files and assess creditworthiness
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare debtor reports and analyse payment trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-3 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in agriculture.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with standard hours.
• Additional hours may be required during reporting periods
