ROLE PURPOSE:

The Calibration Technician is responsible for setting, adjusting, validating mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic measuring and control instruments using the relevant reference standards as per the applicable procedures

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Calibration and Maintenance: Performing routine calibrations on instruments using reference standards and maintaining calibration equipment and records.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Identifying and resolving issues with instruments, including performing repairs and validating the equipment after repairs.
• Procedure Development and Improvement: Creating and updating calibration procedures and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensuring that calibration activities adhere to relevant standards and regulations and participating in audits.
• Coordination and Communication: Collaborating with other technicians, engineers, and vendors, as well as communicating with customers about calibration-related matters.
• Training and Support: Assisting in training and providing technical support as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• National Technical Diploma (NTD-S3/T4) in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Driver's license would be an added advantage.
• 25 to 30 years old, for the purpose of youth development; to be groomed and to grow with the company.
• Living close to the base.
• Experience in project management would be advantageous.

• Hydraulic schematic interpretation
• Able to work under pressure
• vailability to work on weekends and public holidays

• Teamwork
