Position 1: Site Foreman

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage civil works and fiber optic network installations on-site.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and project schedules
• Coordinate activities with artisans, technicians, and laborers.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of general experience in construction/civil works
• At least 2 years of specific experience in fiber optic or similar network projects.
• Relevant technical qualification:
• Minimum: Grade 10 plus N3 Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Namibian citizenship required.

Position 2: Artisan/Mason

Responsibilities:

• Perform civil construction tasks, including masonry and other structural works
• Support fiber optic installation teams in civil-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of general experience in construction/civil works
• At least 1 year of specific experience in similar works.
• Relevant qualification:
• Minimum: Grade 10 plus N6 Trade Certificate or Diploma in Civil/Construction Engineering.
• Namibian citizenship required.

Position 3: Optic Fiber Technician

Responsibilities:

• Install and terminate fiber optic cables
• Conduct splicing, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic networks.
• Ensure quality and compliance with technical specifications

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of general experience in construction/civil works
• At least 2 years of specific experience in fiber optic network installations.
• Relevant technical qualification:
• Minimum: Grade 10 plus N3 Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Namibian citizenship required.

General Requirements for All Positions:

• Consent Letter: Applicants must submit consent letters for the use of their CVs
• Regional Workforce Commitment: Candidates must agree to employ 100% unskilled and semi-skilled labor from the respective regions where the project is located.
• Proof of Namibian Citizenship: Certified copies of Namibian identification documents required.
• Compliance Documentation: All required documentation, including good standing certificates (tax, social security, etc.), must be submitted as per Namibian regulations.
