PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To ensure that the fish samples submitted to the laboratory for testing are tested according to established standards and results are released without delay.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Aseptic product sampling according to the sampling plan .
• Microbiological testing of water, Fish and all hygiene monitoring swabs .
• Organoleptic inspection on product .
• Chemical, consumable and equipment inventory for the Lab ,
• Equipment verification .
• Recording and reporting results.
• Instruments verification and administration of laboratory duties .

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 12 .
• A bachelor’s degree or Related Diploma in food safety, microbiology , food technology, food science or related life sciences.
• At least 2 years work experience in a microbiological laboratory environment .
• Added advantage working in the FMCG industry .
