PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To ensure manpower effectiveness and effective planning, directing and supervision of all Quality Control related activities. Ensures safe working conditions and that product and process meet statutory requirements..

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Follow up on corrective action reports to ensure that preventive action measures are effective.
• Conduct Quality control related training to the quality control team.
• Enforce required regulations and practices in all areas of the production process .
• Ensure that equipment is in required working condition and Report equipment irregularities and breakdowns .
• Analyze internal reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure Quality team effectiveness .

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 12 .
• A Degree in food safety, microbiology , food technology, food science or related life sciences.
• At least 5 year’s work experience in wet fish areas with 2 in supervisory level .
• Added advantage working in the FMCG industry .
