Job Specification

• Perform investment research and provide relevant information to support decision-making.
• Develop investment and economic strategies based on the company’s investment philosophy and customer objectives.
• Analyze the market to identify opportunities and work with portfolio managers to develop new products and features in existing products tailored to target markets.
• Monitor developments in security markets and provide timely updates.
• Assist with report backs and provide performance feedback on investments.
• Be accountable for service delivery through own efforts and initiatives.
• Perform credit research and present credit risk exposures.
• Trade fund positions according to agreed investment strategies.
• Contribute to risk assessments of money market, bond, equity, and multi-asset class portfolios.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Namibian Citizenship
• Relevant degree including Investment/Finance degree, CA, or CFA
• 5+ years’ experience managing money market portfolios with a proven track record
• Excellent decision-making skills
• Excellent numerical skills
• Strong ownership and accountability skills
• Good planning and organizing skills
• Ability to generate innovative ideas, take initiative, sell ideas confidently, and gain commitment
• Ability to think analytically, laterally, and systematically
