Job Description:

To articulate and drive the strategy for the sector and has overall accountability for the effective management, growth and profitability of clients within the assigned sector portfolio. To lead the overall account planning for the sector, and coordinating all product stakeholders to deliver on client plan and has overall oversight of sector team.

Are you someone who can:

• Develop and execute a clear, data-driven sector strategy to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term profitability.
• Lead overall account planning for the sector and coordinate product stakeholders to deliver on client plans.
• Provide oversight and leadership to Sector Leads and Relationship Managers across the segment.
• Drive end-to-end client engagement, delivering tailored solutions and strengthening long-term relationships.
• Optimise financial performance through effective balance sheet management and improved returns.
• Embed disciplined performance management practices across the segment.
• Align product, risk, and support teams to deliver seamless, innovative, and client-centric solutions.
• Ensure strong risk management practices and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor industry trends and market dynamics, ensuring proactive strategic responses.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• Postgraduate degree in Commerce, BSc, or related field.
• MBA qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience, including at least 5 years in a business leadership role within the banking industry.
• Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives and manage P&L responsibilities.
• Strong leadership experience managing Sector Leads and Relationship Managers.
• Broad knowledge of key sectors of the Namibian economy.
• Ability to assess, quantify, and mitigate risk effectively.
• Demonstrated negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Assertive, resilient, and driven by sales performance.
