Job Description:

To provide strategic and operational direction for Global Markets Responsibilities include overall governance and risk management, setting of budgets and PNL, reporting, statutory compliance, local and cross-border, promote brand integrity and thought leadership within the industry

Are you someone who can:

• Deliver Global Markets revenue and risk-adjusted return targets (e.g. NII/fees, trading P&L, RAROC) through Flow Trading, Structured Solutions, and Global Securities Services.
• Grow institutional client wallet share and increase structured-solution penetration through effective client coverage and product strategy execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators (including the Central Bank) and key stakeholders, ensuring compliance and positive supervisory outcomes.
• Structure, approve, and launch compliant bespoke financial solutions within agreed turnaround times.
• Ensure all solutions meet suitability requirements, pricing discipline, and post-trade monitoring standards.
• Maintain a strong risk environment across market, credit, operational, and reputational risk.
• Ensure no material audit or regulatory findings, with breaches addressed within SLA and adherence to policies and limits.
• Build, lead, and retain a high-performing team with clear KPIs, succession planning, and continuous capability development.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• Postgraduate Degree in Commerce, BSc, or a related field.
• CA or CFA qualification.
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in investment banking, including risk management and custodial services.
• Strong knowledge of Global Markets products and structured solutions.
• Trading experience will be an added advantage.
• Proven people management and leadership experience.
