Job Description:

To service all of corporate clients from onboarding (KYC , Account Opening and Channel Enablement) to supporting them implement host to host channels to them using all products and channels Helping clients maintain their products and channels and help client optimise their banking relationship by finding opportunities for efficiencies and where necessary supports the clients to renew the products and channels as a result of new functionality and or new regulation This role trains our clients on all bank products, processes and use of our channels


Are you someone who can:

  • Collaborate on leads with the Wealth Managers and Financial Advisor teams within PBWM by anticipating and responding to their service needs across all PBWM channels. Oversee KYC processes and provide relevant support to the PBWM Wealth Admin team to ensure accurate and timely resolution of client account management, channel, and technical queries.
  • Set the client service engagement plan for managing Money Market Clients within the allocated portfolio and develop a roadmap to meet the goals and objectives for each client.
  • Display sound knowledge of Wealth products, processes, and procedures, as well as the client’s business strategy, needs, strengths, challenges, and opportunities. Coordinate with Wealth managers and financial advisors accordingly.
  • Support clients in maintaining and optimizing advisory services by working closely with the Wealth Management and Planning teams.
  • Maintain and retain existing clients through timely, accurate, and seamless service delivery. Proactively develop and implement service delivery improvement interventions for clients.
  • Initiate dialogue to build professional stakeholder relationships, demonstrating excellent listening, advising, influencing, negotiating, and presentation skills at all levels. Participate in specialist communities of practice and contribute positively to personal and organizational knowledge improvement.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

  • Have a Minimum Qualification – Financial degree.
  • Have a minimum of 3 - 4 years’ experience in financial advisory, particularly in Money Market products with implementation and back-office experience.
  • Hold industry-specific qualifications (e.g., CFP, Capital Market courses in Namibia, Asset and Portfolio Management, and Stock-Broking exams would be beneficial).
  • Customer care/service courses would be advantageous.
  • Are computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Have proficiency in using Financial Planning software.
  • Self-motivator committed to uncompromising standards of ethics and honesty; process-driven, meticulous, accurate, client-focused, shows initiative, a natural communicator with a keen interest in economic, financial, and equity markets.
  • Ability to understand investment and personal wealth management information, investment portfolios, financial mathematics, long-term insurance, pension, and annuity information, and the ability to communicate financial, retirement, and estate planning concepts.
  • Be passionate about helping clients, reliable, organized, and goal-oriented. Ability to work well in both a self-directed manner and in a collaborative environment while embracing the firm’s core values.
  • Working knowledge of investment products and solutions, including domestic and offshore unit trusts and other investment products.
  • Familiarity with Wealth Management industry standards, such as Treating Customers Fairly, CFP Code of Ethics, AML, FIM Bill, and maintaining client records.
  • Ability to plan and manage tasks to meet all relevant deadlines.
  • An energetic individual with an analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
