PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Responsible for the management of all Debtors accounts for the CIC Namibia group (CIC,Supra Sales, Trade Promotors and CB Enterprises).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Evaluate applications for credit worthiness.
• Minimise risk of bad debt.
• Ensure that statements are processed and delivered timeously.
• Ensure that reconciliations are done per laid down procedure.
• Negotiate terms of payments with clients.
• Liase with various departments to ensure that customer queries are followed up and attended to in terms of statements.
• Manage overall debtors administration, timeous processing and delivery of monthly statements, correctness of aging of debtors accounts.
• Submit debtors report to managers regarding debtors days outstanding.
• Manage team of Debtors Clerk and Debtors Supervisor.
• Attend management and departmental meetings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

• Grade 12 and five-years’ experience in FMCG.
• Degree in Finance or Business Management.
• Contract law will be a definite advantage.
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English.
• Proficiency in an indigenous language will be a definite advantage.
• Be able to handle pressure and conflict situations.
• Negotiation skills.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be friendly, punctual, reliable, and presentable.
• Have good interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.
• Valid passport and police clearance certificate.
• Namibian citizenship.
