Job Description:

The role requires a highly experienced, customer-focused, and self-driven banker with strong operational, lending, fiduciary, and relationship management capability, able to represent the Private Banking brand with professionalism and confidence within the branch, Premium suite, and broader coastal market.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, manage, and grow long-term relationships with affluent and high-value clients.
• Deliver exceptional, personalised customer experiences with a strong focus on service excellence and relationship management.
• Operate independently while maintaining high standards of customer experience, operational excellence, and risk management.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire, grow, and retain profitable clients in a competitive regional market.
• Manage client portfolios strategically to drive revenue growth, increase product penetration, and position the bank as the client’s primary financial partner.
• Analyse client financial needs and structure appropriate banking, lending, and investment solutions.
• Apply strong credit, risk, and compliance principles while balancing commercial growth and customer experience.
• Assist clients with fiduciary requirements, including wills, estates, and related reporting processes.
• Support securities and lending processes while ensuring governance standards and turnaround times are met.
• Compile and present portfolio reports, business insights, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Apply strong relationship management skills across investments, lending, finance, and private banking services.
• Work independently, communicate effectively, and take full accountability for performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Represent the Private Banking and Premium brand professionally within branch, suite, and community environments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant industry qualification or Commerce degree.
• 5–8 years’ experience in Private Banking, Business Banking, Wealth Management, Relationship Management, or similar financial services role.
• Strong knowledge of operations, lending, fiduciary, credit, and risk management.
• Strong commercial acumen with a client-centric mindset.
• Passion for customer service excellence and personalised client experiences.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while maintaining high professional standards.
• Experience working with affluent or high-net-worth clients and complex portfolios.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
