About the Role:

Smart Solutions Namibia is looking for a young, energetic Systems Technician and Consultant to join our team. This role requires extensive travel across Namibia. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, techsavvy, and capable of handling both technical installations and basic procurement/logistics tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, IP networking equipment, and security/IT systems.
• Drive long distances to project sites across Namibia.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Understand client requirements, propose practical solutions, and implement them effectively.
• Troubleshoot and maintain internet-based systems, networking, and security setups.
• Generate quotes for clients and handle basic procurement for project needs.
• Manage procurement for approved designs, ensuring all necessary materials are available.
• Organize logistics for equipment, ensuring timely deliveries to project sites.
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members.

Requirements:

• Young and available for frequent travel.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel long distances.
• Basic experience or knowledge in electricity and electronics.
• Confident working with computers, structured cabling and security systems (CCTV)
• Ability to understand client needs, suggest solutions, and implement them.
• Basic knowledge of procurement and logistics to source materials and organize deliveries.
• Strong communication skills and problemsolving abilities.
• Passion for tech in Agriculture
