Job Specification

• Understanding and providing support on the Old Mutual Wealth investment philosophy, process, tools, and strategies.
• Understanding and providing support on the rationale, construction, and management of all Old Mutual Wealth Strategy Funds and other Old Mutual Investment Group funds or external funds available on the Old Mutual Wealth Namibia platform.
• Partnering with distribution channels to identify opportunities within the markets.
• Working closely with all relevant Old Mutual Wealth resources in Namibia and South Africa to ensure effective delivery of the Old Mutual Wealth Namibia value proposition to distribution channels, their support staff, and clients.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with distribution channels.
• Planning and delivering formal presentations to distribution channels and clients.
• Managing product marketing events to strengthen the Old Mutual Wealth profile.
• Keeping up to date with product developments in the financial services industry and on local and international financial markets.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Namibian Citizenship
• Bachelor of Commerce (NQF 7) is essential
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Services and the investment environment
• Must have a passion for Investments Business and Sales
• CFP and/or CFA and/or MBA will be an added advantage
• Must have a strong client focus, with enterprise innovation
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to gain commitment and buy-in from other stakeholders
• Excellent planning and organizing skills
• Must have excellent technical knowledge
• Be team-oriented
